Get away from it all with this 3 bed roomed retreat in the countryside between Guia and Moya in the north of Gran Canaria, with a wonderful view down the valley to the sea.

Although not easy to find at the end of a very steep rough track this house is well worth the effort. For those who like to get away, this could be the answer as there is only 1 neighbour in the vicinity. To the front is “off road” parking space and a concrete path to the green front door (with wrought iron security grille). The exterior of the house is all painted green in an attempt to blend it into the countryside. It is set in 9000m² of garden which includes fruit trees, some semi tropical planted garden within a hedged area, swimming pool (4.5m diameter x 1.2m deep) & rough land with a hen house and a 10,000 litre water tank.

The front door opens into a spacious “L” shaped hall (20m²). Like the rest of the house, the floors are tiled in brown, the walls and ceilings are pale yellow. The hall has one 2 door and one 3 door fitted wardrobe with cupboards above. The house is built mainly on one level although there are steps up to some rooms, all of which are accessed from the hall.

Bed 1(13.5m²): has a huge 6 door wardrobe with cupboards above. There are windows to the front and side. Like all the other windows these are UPVC with mosquito nets and wrought iron security grilles on the outside.

Bed 2 (12.8m²): with 6 door wardrobe with cupboards above & one window.

Bed 3 ( 13m²):  this room has a large storage unit incorporating a double wardrobe various cupboards and 2 fold down single beds as well as a separate double wardrobe and a window to the side.

Shower room (3.6m²): tiled mainly in white with grey pattern to top half of the wall & dado. White low level wc, white basin (with mirror & shaver point) set in granite worktop, with storage under. Separate shower cubicle with frosted glazed sliding door and granite shower tray. There is additional storage in an alcove in the shower cubicle also with glazed sliding doors. There is a small window to the side.

Living / Dining room (25m²): This room has a large window to the front, wood panelled ceiling with a skylight & white walls. There is lighting concealed behind the cornice on the 2 long walls. There is also a hidden safe.

Kitchen (10.3m²): fully fitted with a range of high quality wall & floor units on 2 walls. These have wooden frames with white centre panels to the doors & drawer fronts.  The deep red/brown granite worktop has an inset polycarbonate double corner sink and 4 ring ceramic hob with concealed extractor above and a tiled splash back. Fitted equipment includes built under oven & dishwasher, tall fridge freezer.

The house is being sold unfurnished. All the rooms have TV & phone points.

The house was fully renovated 7 years ago (this included rewiring, re-plumbing, new windows, doors & floors and pre-wiring for an alarm system) and has been redecorated annually to keep it in its current excellent condition. The house also benefits from a roof terrace, accessed via concrete steps at the side of the property.

For someone who loves living in the country, this is place is the ideal blend of a comfortable spacious house with all the modern conveniences and being able to see little apart from the countryside down to the sea.
